Canceled and Missed Lessons:

There are no refunds for canceled or missed lessons.
As a member in good standing of the Ontario Registered Music Teacher Association, my studio policy is in alignment with ORMTA’s studio policy which states that “no allowances will be made for lessons missed by students, except by special arrangement in case of prolonged illness. This includes cancellations for extended family vacations as well as school-related absences and will be strictly adhered to. This policy is consistent with those of sports teams, schools, camps, and dojo’s that place a high priority on regular attendance and diligent commitment. Please choose a time that works with your other extracurricular activities.

Flex Lessons (Lesson credits):
Did you miss a lesson? Don’t freak out! Throughout the year and at the end of each term, (Dec and May) there are lesson availabilities and open studio days that can be used for missed lessons. If you have a lesson credit on your account, you can schedule a flex/makeup lesson online. Lessons canceled due to bad weather can be taught via SKYPE. (Fun!) Discontinuing Lessons: Your lesson time is reserved for you from September to June. If you decide that you are unable to continue lessons, I ask that you give at least one month notice. There are no refunds or credits for lessons missed or canceled.

What is included in the Tuition fee? Your tuition fee includes more than just your 45-minute private lesson. Lesson preparation, song research, music purchases, and backing tracks are customized for every student. Your tuition includes the time and costs associated with rehearsals and performances.
