Welcome to the FULL VOICE Private Voice Studio 

Hi there! My name is Nikki Loney.  
   
I love helping singers discover their voices! I am a Registered Music Teacher with the Ontario Registered Music Teacher Association and a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. I have been teaching for almost 30 years.

I work with singers of all ages. (See Below) My teaching studio has a friendly, family and supportive environment and I welcome students of all abilities. My teaching studio is in Hamilton, Ontario at Erskine Presbyterian Church.

Here is what we can do together:




♪ NEW Introductory Vocal Music Class (55-minute group class for ages 5 to 6) 
15-week sessions / $250 fee
The Introductory singing class is for young singers ages 5 to 6 who love to sing. This is a wonderful introduction to vocal music. The classes are small (5 students max) and include singing, movement and most importantly - FUN. Each week we explore the voice and discover musical concepts in a fun, inclusive, play-based environment.  
Sundays 1:30 to 2:30 PM and(full)


Session One: September 19th to January 16th (Recital Sunday, January 19th)
Session Two: January 30th to June 4th (Recital Saturday, May 2nd)


♪  Singing Club Class (55-minute small group class for ages 7 to 9) 
 

This small group class is for students who have completed the Introductory vocal class and have experienced performing in a recital. Students continue to learn about their voice and musical concepts in a fun, play-based class. Students in the Singing Club class will explore singing in parts (rounds) and have the opportunity to sing solos (optional).

Sundays 3:30 to 4:30 PM (Full)

Session One: September 15th to January 12th (Recital Sunday, January 19th)
Session Two: January 26th to May 31st (Recital Saturday, May 2nd)

  
♫ Beginner/Intermediate PRIVATE Voice Lessons (ages 8 and up)    
All students discover their voice and a wide variety of music genres in a friendly and educational environment. Students are encouraged to sing a variety of music including music theater, jazz, and contemporary music. (RCM Voice and Theory Examinations are optional.) All students learn music theory and sight singing in every lesson. Older students have the opportunity to sing harmony with others in small groups.    

 
♬ Adult Vocal Lessons (all levels of experience welcome)
   
Do you love singing? Are you insecure about your singing or speaking voice? Maybe you are hiding behind your choir music?
  Does your voice feel tired and hoarse after singing? Adult lessons are catered to your needs and goals and can include:
 
  • developing a healthy singing technique
  • learning how the vocal instrument works
  • building your range and ability
  • building confidence
  • overcoming stage fright (yes, you can)
  • developing your music reading skills (yes, you should)
  • learning to use a microphone
  • preparing for auditions or performances


𝅘𝅥𝅯 Adult Vocal Lesson Packages
To help adult singers achieve their goals and see notable progress with the vocal instrument, Vocal Lesson Packages are available in 4, 6 and 8 lesson sessions. These are one-hour lessons which students can book lessons online at their convenience. Students investing in lesson packages are welcome to participate in recitals (additional fees for recital musicians). Lessons must be booked within a 6-month window. There are no refunds or credits for packages or lessons that are not scheduled. Lesson can be rescheduled if 24-hour notice is given.

4 lesson package - $320 
6 lesson package - $450 
8 lesson package - $560


Post-secondary Music Program Audition preparation 

I successfully prepare students for University or College music programs auditions. Preparation includes both performance skills and music theory. If you are considering studying vocal music at the post-secondary level - please contact me for more information.  
 
Student Performance Opportunities:  
Non-competitive performances are always available to those who want to perform!
All students are encouraged to participate in seasonal recitals (held at the church)
 
All singers have the opportunity to work with a professional band. (Additional fees apply)
 
I have an open-door policy - meaning that parents are always welcome and encouraged to attend the lessons.
When parents and students are comfortable and progressing well - parents can pop in less frequently (Or use the private lounge beside the teaching studio.)
