Hey Families!

Just a friendly reminder that as we approach the cold and flu season I wanted to let you know how to handle the lesson cancellations.

Firstly!

Colds are OK. (I mean, they are a drag) but If your child is OK to go to school -  they are OK to come to singing lessons.Do NOT cancel. We will have the opportunity to have a NO SINGING lesson. There are ENDLESS music-related activities that do apply to singing - that don't require us to sing. THIS IS NOT A WASTED LESSON. Music is a complex language that is enhanced by writing, and listening exercises. Theory is very important and I guarantee they are not getting enough theory instruction at school. We have so much we can do in a lesson that will still allow for the voice to be rested.

IF you have the flu, or you are contagious or have a fever. Please cancel your lesson. You can log into your account and cancel. The system will send me an email letting me know you are unavailable. You can then rebook another lesson down the road. Remember, there are "Flex" lessons at the end of December for students who have missed lessons.

Hello Singers and Families of Singers

Just a friendly reminder that lessons start the week of the 10th. (No lessons next week) I am looking forward to a great year of teaching and wishing everyone a great transition back to routine ( hooray !).
